The Great Paradox

By Truman M. Smith, Sr.

A Texas preacher gives an account of his experiences from the time he was a "boy-preacher" (1944) who opposed the class method of teaching the Bible, to the time of his change from that position (1952), why he left it, and his acceptance of the class system. Brief biographies are set forth of several other preachers who also left that persuasion. Additionally, mention is made of the names of preachers, now of the past, who he believes influenced the changes within the Twenty-First Century anti-Bible-class fellowship. Autobiographical sketches of the author are given along with stories associated with those times as he explains the evolution of these brethren through those years.
